The Alignment Audit Assessment

This is the first act of the work.

Set aside forty to forty-five minutes. Sit somewhere you will not be interrupted. Turn your phone face down.

One instruction, and it is the only one that matters. Answer as the woman on the drive home, not the woman in the meeting. The version of you that performs well is not the version we are working with. If your answers sound composed, you have written them for the wrong audience.

There are no wrong answers here. There are only true ones and useful ones, and they are usually the same.

I read every audit personally before your Alignment Session. What you write here shapes what we do for the next twelve months.

PART 2

YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW

Question 13 of 49

Describe your life right now. Not your title. Not your accomplishments. What does it actually feel like to be you on an ordinary Tuesday?

Question 14 of 49

What is working? Where do you feel most alive, most clear, most like yourself?

Question 15 of 49

What is not working? Where do you feel the most resistance and the widest gap between where you are and where you want to be?

Question 16 of 49

Finish this sentence honestly. "The thing nobody in my life knows about how I am really doing is _____________________."

PART 3

IDENTITY

Identity is who you are underneath the title, the role, and the performance. Most high capacity leaders have not examined it in years, because performing it has been more urgent than protecting it.

Question 18 of 49

Who are you at your core, beneath every title and responsibility you currently carry? What are your values and your non negotiable truths?

Question 19 of 49

When do you feel most like yourself? Describe the conditions. The environment, the work, the people, the pace.

Question 20 of 49

When do you feel least like yourself? What conditions reliably produce a version of you that feels borrowed or performed?

Question 21 of 49

Is the person the world sees the same person you experience on the inside? If not, describe the gap in plain words.

Question 22 of 49

What do you know to be true about yourself that your current life is not yet honoring?

PART 4

ASSIGNMENT

Assignment is what is specifically yours to do. It is not what you agreed to do. It is not what other people need from you. It is the work that only your identity can carry.

Question 24 of 49

What do you believe you were built to do? Not a job title. A contribution.

Question 25 of 49

Are you doing that work right now? Fully, partially, in title only, or not at all? If not, what are you doing instead?

Question 26 of 49

How clear are you about your purpose right now?

1 means no clarity at all. 10 means complete certainty.

Question 27 of 49

What are you recognized for that you were never built for?

This question is the center of the whole program. Take your time with it.

Question 28 of 49

If every obligation and expectation that was not yours by design disappeared tomorrow, what would remain? What would you be doing?

PART 5

RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibility is what you are carrying today. Every item gets one question. Does this belong to my identity and my assignment, or did I pick it up through obligation, expectation, or compensation?

Question 30 of 49

List every significant responsibility you carry right now, professional and personal. Do not filter. Do not justify. Just list them.

Question 31 of 49

Looking at that list, which ones are a direct expression of who you are and what you were built to do?

Question 32 of 49

Which ones do not belong to you?

Question 33 of 49

What has carrying the ones that do not belong to you cost you?

Be specific about the currency. Peace. Clarity. Energy. Health. Joy. Momentum. Self trust. Your marriage. Your children. Your body. Etc.

Question 34 of 49

What would it cost you to put one of them down this year?

Write the honest answer, including who would be upset.

PART 6

THE EXHAUSTION SCORES

This is not about sleep. It is the internal depletion that accumulates when a high capacity leader leads without alignment.

Score each one from 1 to 10.

Question 36 of 49

WHAT IS YOUR SCORE FOR EACH?

(Score each of them 1 to 10)

Internal exhaustion.

1 means fully resourced. 10 means running on empty.

Clarity.

1 means completely clear. 10 means completely foggy.

Self trust.

1 means I trust my instincts. 10 means I second guess everything.

Momentum.

1 means moving powerfully forward. 10 means stalled.

Joy in my leadership.

1 means deeply fulfilled. 10 means completely depleted.

Alignment between who I am and how I am living.

1 means fully aligned. 10 means fragmented.

Question 37 of 49

Look at your six scores. What do they tell you about where this work needs to start?

Question 38 of 49

How long have you been operating at these levels?

When did you last feel clear, aligned, and alive?

PART 7

YOUR HEALTH AND SUPPORT

This program is coaching. It is not therapy and it is not medical care. This section exists so that I know how to support you well and so I know where the edges of coaching are for you.

Answer only what you are comfortable answering. Nothing here changes your place in this program.

Question 40 of 49

Are you currently working with a therapist, counselor, psychiatrist, physician, or other provider on anything related to stress, mood, or wellbeing?

Question 41 of 49

Is there anything happening in your health, your family, or your circumstances right now that I should know before we start?

Grief, illness, a separation, a legal matter, a caregiving load.

Question 42 of 49

Is there any topic you would prefer I not raise in a group setting?

Question 43 of 49

If a session opens something that needs more than coaching, how would you like me to handle it?

PART 8

YOUR INTENTION

Question 45 of 49

What do you most want to resolve in these twelve months?

Not a general goal. The precise shift you are committed to making.

Question 46 of 49

How will you know the work was done?

Describe what is true in your life twelve months from now.

Question 47 of 49

What are you willing to examine, release, or confront in order to get there?

Question 48 of 49

What would make you quit?

Everyone has a version. Write yours now, while you are clear, so I can hold you to it later.

Question 49 of 49

Anything else I should know before we begin?
