RAISING THE STANDARD RAISING THE STANDARD

The Executive Integration Experience

One Woman. One Body. One Life.

Four days and five nights for the woman who holds a standard for everyone except herself, and is living a life that impresses everyone and belongs to no one.

Join the Waitlist

The first 25 women to join the waitlist receive a private 20-minute conversation with Charisa before the application opens and price protection, with first access to payment plan options.

Every woman who joins after the first 25 receives price protection and priority application access before seats open to the public on December 1.

There are 20 seats in the room. The women who are paying attention first are the women most likely to be in it.

Most women hear Matthew 16:26 as a warning.

The women in this room hear it as a receipt.

They already made the trade. The title. The compensation. The seat at the table they were told they had to earn. The reputation built decision by careful decision over twenty years.

All of it, gained.

And somewhere inside the transaction, quietly, one reasonable sacrifice at a time, the woman who was supposed to be living that life went missing.

Nobody signs that agreement on purpose.

It happens over two decades, by a woman who was only ever trying to do it well.

A standard is two things at once.

The measure you refuse to fall below. And the banner you carry so everyone knows who is coming.

You have held one for the business, the board, the team, and the family.

You have never once held one for the woman carrying it.

These four days are where that changes.

Dominican Republic

The Condition Nobody Puts on the Agenda

Two Women. One Body. One Life That Stopped Belonging to Either of Them.

There is the woman the room is allowed to see.

She is composed. She is competent. She walks in and the temperature changes. She has the answer before the question is finished. She looks like everything is fine, because she has spent twenty years making sure it does.

And there is the other one.

The one who is exhausted in a way that sleep does not touch. The one who has stopped knowing what she wants because no one has asked in years, including herself. The one who lies awake not with ambition but with a quiet, stubborn grief she cannot put words to. The one who knows the life she is living photographs beautifully and feels like it was assembled for someone else.

She is not permitted anywhere.

Holding both of them upright is the most expensive thing a high-capacity woman does. It does not appear on any budget. It appears as internal erosion. As a body that stopped cooperating. As blood pressure that will not come down. As weight that will not move regardless of what she tries. As a marriage that has quietly become functional. As children who have a present mother who is privately absent.

She has tried to fix it.

She reads the books. She hires the coaches. She takes the spa weekend and returns to the same life fourteen hours later. She goes to therapy, and it helps, until it hits a ceiling and she cannot work out why.

Because she has been addressing the symptoms.

While the actual problem, the divided life and the belief system underneath it, has never been stated out loud.

Charisa Munroe-Wilborn
What the Room Sees
What She Is Carrying
The one they promote
The one who cannot remember what she wanted
The one everybody relies on
The one nobody has asked about in years
Composed in every meeting
Coming apart in the car afterward
A life that photographs well
A life that does not feel like hers
Saving everyone
Quietly certain she is disappearing
Achievement
Depletion, and no language for it

She does not need to be fixed.

Nothing is broken.

She has simply been divided for so long that she has forgotten one woman was ever possible.

Why Everything Else Has Hit a Ceiling

The Achievement Was Never the Problem. The Belief Underneath It Was.

The most capable women in every room share the same hidden operating system.

It is not their leadership style. It is not their industry. It is not even their calendar.

It is a set of beliefs they absorbed so early and applied so consistently that they stopped being able to see them as beliefs at all.

They just became true.

From a previous retreat

From a previous retreat

"My value is what I produce."

So she never stops. Rest feels like failure. Vacation feels like falling behind. She is as productive as ever and more depleted than she has ever been, and she cannot reconcile the two.

"I must have it all together to be seen."

So the version of her that is struggling stays hidden. She performs wholeness. She waits for someone to ask if she is actually all right, and she makes very sure that no one ever will.

"I cannot have it all."

So she chooses. Career over presence. Ambition over rest. The life she built over the life she wanted. She wins the negotiation every time, and loses a little more of herself with every round.

"I must save everyone."

So she holds every weight that walks into her office, her home, and her inbox. She is the last one standing. She is always the last one standing. And she is exhausted by a job she never applied for.

"Sacrifice is the price of success."

So she pays it. And pays it. And pays it. Until she cannot remember what she was paying toward.

These are not character flaws.

They are conclusions drawn by a brilliant woman from the evidence available to her.

And they are wrong.

Raising The Standard exists to surface the belief, state it in front of witnesses, and trade it, permanently, for one that is actually true.

Why I Am Doing This

I Lived This Way for Years.

"Only the version of me that has it together deserves to be seen."

The belief I did not know I was living by

There was the composed one.

The competent one. The one who walked into rooms and commanded them. She was allowed to be visible. She was the one people came to. She was the one they promoted.

And there was the other one.

The one in a relationship I knew was not right. The one whose private life did not match the image I was projecting. She had to stay hidden, because I was certain that if anyone saw her, they would question my leadership, my credibility, and my right to be in the room.

Somewhere underneath all of it, I believed them.

So I performed wholeness while quietly coming apart. I suffered in silence. I waited for someone to ask whether I was actually all right, and I made very sure that nobody ever would.

Then I lost both of my parents.

And the divided life I had been managing so carefully stopped being manageable.

What I needed was not more motivation. I had more than enough of that. What I needed was an exchange. A limiting belief system for an empowering one. A room built to hold the weight I had been carrying alone.

That exchange is the entire reason these four days exist.

And it is not work I am willing to attempt through a screen.

I am a Leadership Strategist, Coach, and International Speaker. The daughter of Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe. I have spent my career building spaces for leaders that go where most coaches cannot, and will not, follow.

This is not the space I wish I had found.

It is the space I had to build in order to find it.

How the Four Days Run

Five Movements, in Order, Until the Two Become One.

This is not an agenda. It is a sequence. Each movement does a job the next one depends on. You are told what is happening to you before it happens. Nothing catches you unprepared.

From a previous retreat
1

The Arrival

You are not bringing her in here.

Every woman lands as her title. Separating the woman from the résumé is the first work, and nothing else can begin until it is done.

  • The Threshold. A physical crossing, made alone, where you are received as yourself and nothing else.
  • The Surrender. Devices locked away for the duration. You cannot leave a life you are still answering.
  • The First Circle. One question answered aloud. What has the divide cost me? We answer first. Always.
  • The Covenant. Read aloud and signed. Confidentiality, consent, and your right to step out of anything at any moment, no explanation required.
From a previous retreat
2

The Excavation

Underneath the performance is a belief.

The hardest day, placed early on purpose, because you will need the rest of the week to integrate what surfaces here.

  • The order most women have backwards. The achievement was never the problem. The belief underneath it was.
  • Pods of five. Fixed for the full retreat. Trust compounds. It does not distribute.
  • The Inventory. Structured, guided work on what you buried in order to keep performing.
  • The Long Table. Dinner with no programme. After excavation, women need food and each other.
From a previous retreat
3

The Reckoning

The body has been keeping the record.

The day brilliant women stop being able to think their way through. Insight lives in the head. Change lives considerably lower down.

  • Embodiment. Breath and movement work, trauma-informed, with a visible opt out that requires no explanation.
  • The Exchange. One at a time, in front of nineteen witnesses, you state the belief you have been living by and the one you are taking in its place. The room receives it. Without fixing. Without advising.
  • Solitude, required. Three hours alone. Most retreats are afraid of empty space. This one prescribes it.
From a previous retreat
4

The Rebuild

Now put her back together as one.

The turn from excavation to construction. Everything before this day was clearing ground.

  • The Boardroom. Bring one live decision you are stuck on. The room works it, and you solve the real problem, not the presenting one.
  • The Blueprint. Built in the room. What your leadership, money, body, faith, and relationships look like when they stop being at war with each other.
  • The Hard Conversation. Rehearsal of the conversation you have been avoiding, with a peer opposite you and live coaching.
From a previous retreat
5

The Return

You will go back to everything you left.

Most retreats end on a high and dissolve inside ten days. That risk is stated out loud here, and built against.

  • Re-entry. A plan for the first seventy-two hours home, including what will try to pull you back.
  • The Charge. The room states the one thing you are accountable for. Spoken and witnessed.
  • The Pairing. A ninety-day accountability partner with structure, not good intentions.
  • The Closing. Something physical to carry home, and a reconvening date already on your calendar.

What Women Have Said

They Came In With the Weight. They Left With the Words.

These are not transformations that happened to exceptional women under exceptional circumstances.

They happened to women exactly like you, carrying exactly what you are carrying, inside four days in one room.

"I finally made the decision I had been holding out on for a long time."

That sentence took twenty years to become possible.

Not because the decision was complicated. Because the woman making it had spent two decades believing that her needs were the last item on the agenda, and that good leaders do not put themselves first.

She made it on day four.

"I am done just taking what is being handed to me."

Read that again.

Done.

Not managing it better. Not reframing it. Not finding a more graceful way to absorb what was never hers to carry.

Done.

That word does not come from a motivational talk. It comes from a woman who finally located the belief that told her she had no other choice, and traded it for one that did.

"The greatest impact for me was realizing that I don't have to lean into mom guilt or feel like a failing wife when I go after my purpose."

This is the belief that costs the most and is spoken of the least.

The idea that ambition and presence are in competition. That every hour she spends becoming who she is meant to be is an hour stolen from the people she loves most.

She had been paying that tax for years.

She stopped paying it in this room.

Before
After
Holding a decision she could not make
Made it. On day four.
Taking what was handed to her
Done.
Guilt every time she chose herself
Permission to be both, fully
Suffering in silence
Finally, not alone
Carrying what she could not put down
An understanding of how to let it go

"My most important discovery was knowing that I'm not alone."

Twenty women walked into that room.

Every single one of them believed, privately, that she was the only one.

The only one performing wholeness she did not feel. The only one depleted behind the title. The only one who had quietly stopped recognizing the life she had worked so hard to build.

She was not alone.

She has never been alone.

She just had nowhere to say it out loud, until now.

"I didn't know how to let things go, and I was able to get an understanding of how to do that."

Not a technique. Not a framework. Not a breathing exercise she will forget by Thursday.

An understanding.

The kind that changes how you move through a room. How you respond to what used to send you into two hours of silence or three days of overwork. How you carry what is actually yours, and finally, permanently, put down what was never meant to be.

What This Will Not Be

Four Standards This Room Will Not Break.

No Virtual Option.

There will never be a livestream, a hybrid seat, or a recording of this room. What happens here requires bodies in one place and a door that closes. We would rather hold empty seats than allow a camera.

No Phones.

Devices are surrendered on arrival and returned in set windows each day. Every woman objects before she comes. By the third day, she thanks us. You cannot leave a life you are still answering.

No Stage.

We are not speaking at you for four days. There is teaching, and it matters, but most of the time is spent doing the work rather than watching someone describe it.

No Open Enrollment.

Every seat is filled by application and conversation. This work is wrong for a woman in acute crisis, and the waitlist conversation is where we catch that before she boards a plane.

Who Is Holding the Room

Many Can Run a Retreat. Very Few Are Built to Hold One.

Lived.

I was the woman with the title and the private cost. I do not teach this from theory. There is a reason I answer the first question in circle myself, every time, before anyone else is asked to speak.

Professional.

Leadership Strategist, Coach, and International Speaker. That is why this retreat can go where others stop. Why the screening is real. Why the safety here is structural rather than promised.

Legacy.

Daughter of Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe. Raised inside a lifelong conversation about purpose and leadership. I have spent my career carrying it forward, on my own terms, in the place where it began.

The Thoughts That Are in Your Head Right Now

You Have Already Had This Conversation With Yourself.

You know the objections. You have used them before. They are the same ones your clients use when they know they need something and cannot yet justify it.

Charisa Munroe-Wilborn

"I don't have the money right now."

You are spending money on this problem right now. You have been for years.

The supplements. The spa weekends. The therapy that helps and then hits a ceiling. The retreat that charged half this price and returned you to the same life forty-eight hours later. The prescriptions managing symptoms that have not changed in five years.

The question is not whether you can afford this.

The question is how much longer the current arrangement costs you, in health, in relationships, in the years you are spending maintaining a life that does not feel like yours.

Payment plans are available. A thirty-minute conversation will tell us whether this is the right fit and the right time.

"I don't have four days."

You do not have four days because you have spent twenty years building a life that cannot function without you present every hour.

That is not a reason to stay home.

That is the reason to come.

The women in this room are running organizations, boards, and families. They found four days. Not because it was convenient. Because they decided it was necessary.

"I need to check with my spouse first."

Fair. And worth stating plainly: the woman who asks permission to invest in herself is often the same woman who makes every significant financial decision in her household without consultation.

Bring your spouse to the conversation if you would like. We are glad to speak with you together.

"This doesn't feel urgent right now."

It never does.

It felt the same way last year. And the year before that.

Urgency is not the signal. Exhaustion is. Disconnection is. The quiet, persistent certainty that something has gone missing, and the growing suspicion that it will not come back on its own, is the signal.

You recognized yourself somewhere on this page.

That is not an accident.

How to Get a Seat

This Is an Application. Not a Checkout.

From a previous retreat

Twenty women are going to spend four days telling each other the truth.

Who is in the room is the most important decision we make, and we make it personally.

This is not a form that feeds into an automation. It is a conversation that begins with a question and ends with a decision made by both of us.

  1. You submit an application. It asks real questions. It takes about twenty minutes. There are no trick questions, only honest ones.
  2. We speak for thirty minutes. Both of us are deciding. You are interviewing the room as much as we are interviewing you.
  3. If it is a fit, your seat is confirmed and your preparation begins. You will receive everything you need to arrive ready.
  4. Location, full logistics, and your group thread arrive with your confirmation. You book the flight. Everything else is handled.

If it is not a fit, for any reason, including timing, we will tell you so directly, and we will tell you why.

There is no pressure on the call. There is no close. There is only an honest assessment of whether this room is the right room for you, right now.

Frequently Asked

Questions.

Is this therapy?

No. It is not therapy or counseling. Raising The Standard is leadership and integration work. If what you need is therapy, we will tell you so on the application call, clearly and with a referral.

I am extremely private. Will I be forced to share?

Never. Every exercise carries a visible opt out and no woman is asked to explain using it. Most women find that having permission to say nothing is precisely what makes them willing to speak. The room is built on consent. Structural consent, not the kind that is offered once and then quietly expected to hold forever.

Why are phones surrendered?

Because you cannot leave a life you are still answering. Devices go into a locked box on arrival and are returned in set windows each day. Your family holds a number that reaches you immediately in a genuine emergency. Every woman objects before she arrives. By the third day, she thanks us. The phone is not the problem. The permission it gives the outside world to interrupt the inside work, that is the problem.

Where exactly is it held?

A private estate in the Dominican Republic, taken over entirely for this group, one short flight from Miami. The specific property is shared with applicants once the conversation confirms a fit, so that flights can be planned before anything is committed. Nothing is asked of you before you have what you need to make a fully informed decision.

What if I am in the middle of something difficult right now?

Tell us on the call. This work is powerful and it is not right for every woman at every moment. Grief that is still acute, a crisis that is still unfolding, a situation that needs professional treatment rather than integration work, these are not disqualifications forever. They are reasons to have an honest conversation about timing. Part of what you are paying for is someone qualified to say so before you board a plane.

Will I be sold something while I am there?

No. Raising The Standard is complete on its own. The four days are never used as a sales environment. There is no pitch, no offer made from the front of the room, no moment where you feel the conversation turning toward a transaction. If there is a next step for you, it is offered privately after the retreat. It is always a choice and never an expectation.

May I invite a colleague or someone from my team?

Yes, you can and you should. If there is a woman in your circle carrying what you are carrying, invite her. Women often go further knowing somebody they trust is in the room with them. Corporate cohorts are also available as a separate engagement. Reach out to discuss what that would look like for your organization.

Is air travel included?

No, it is not. Inclusions cover land travel and activities within the scope of the retreat only. You book your flight. Everything from the moment you land is handled.

What do I do if I have a question that is not answered here?

Write to us at info@charisamunroe.com and we will answer it directly. You can also join the waitlist. The questions you have that are not on this page are almost always better answered in a conversation than in copy, and there is no obligation attached to joining.

You Arrived at This Page for a Reason.

The woman reading this did not stumble here.

She has been carrying something heavy for a long time. She knows it. She has probably known it for years. She has been waiting for the right time, the right container, the right room, and finding reasons why none of them were quite it.

Here is what twenty years of that looks like:

A life assembled correctly. A woman disappearing inside it. A growing suspicion that the version of her that was supposed to arrive, the one who was present, whole, and actually living, never quite did.

She is not broken.

She is divided.

And division, unlike damage, has a repair.

Raising The Standard is not a retreat about doing more or becoming more. It is four days of becoming one. The woman who leads and the woman who lives, finally in the same body, moving in the same direction, no longer at war with each other.

Four days, five nights. Twenty women. Dominican Republic. May 2027.

A room held by people equipped to carry what you have been carrying alone, and willing to go where the weight actually lives.

You arrive as two.

You leave as one.
